Molecular Functional Imaging Lab (MFIL)

Welcome

At MFIL@ACTREC, we are engaged in interdisciplinary research involving preclinical Molecular Imaging (MI) for understanding the biology of breast cancer, testing experimental cancer therapeutics and cancer nanomedicines. In the era of precision therapy, research in our laboratory involves development and use of molecular reporter sensors  suitable for estimating molecular functions in vivo. A wide spectrum of experimental medicine and novel concept therapeutics using non-invasive molecular imaging and mouse models are developed. The laboratory has also contributed significantly to the institutional mandate by filing many new research patent applications. Learn more about our research and areas of study below.
